Join the Friends of the Mahoning River for a paddle on one of the river's clearest stretches. Weather permitting, you'll enjoy underwater views for much of the trip. Like most of the Mahoning, it's mostly calm with some fun riffles. There's a Class 2 wave near the Edinburg 224 bridge, but you can easily bypass it by taking the chute on the right.
Expect this leisurely paddle to take about 2-3 hours, including a lunch break at Kuskusky Island. Please bring your own food and drinks. There's no fee to join!
Boat rental available with Mahoning Paddle and Pedal.
